    4. Group Elimination Test

    In a group elimination test, a group of bearing samples is randomly divided into subgroups. Each subgroup is then tested under the same conditions until one failed sample appears in a subgroup, and that defective product is eliminated.

    5. Sequential Test

    A sequential test involves sequentially evaluating failed samples from a group of bearings tested under the same conditions.

    II. Test Scope of Bearing Testing Machines

    1. Bearing Working Condition Simulation

    Bearing tests are simulation tests conducted on testing machines under conditions that replicate the actual rotational speed, load, operating temperature, pressure, etc., of the bearings. It serves as an important means of simulating real bearing working conditions.

    2. Compliance Verification

    It is an essential part of verifying whether bearings meet design requirements and subsequent finalization for installation. By focusing on faults or failures as the core research objects, the fundamental goal is to improve reliability through identifying, researching, and resolving the root causes of these issues.

    3. Lubricating Oil Performance Evaluation

    It is also an effective way to study lubricants and bearing material properties. Bearing testing machines can be used to investigate the mechanism of lubricating oil film formation in bearings, as well as the variation laws of oil film pressure distribution, temperature at lubrication points, friction coefficient, and wear.
