    Automotive release bearings are crucial components in vehicles, as they need to interrupt power transmission before gear shifting and braking.     I. Detection Principle of Automotive Release Bearing Test Equipment

    1. Governor Motor Drives Clutch Rotation

    The automotive release bearing test equipment is driven by a frequency converter and motor to rotate the clutch. The tested release bearing is driven by another set of frequency converter and motor, and performs reciprocating motion through a reducer and cam mechanism. This method features simple installation, low cost, and low energy consumption. However, it cannot simulate the working conditions of the release bearing during vehicle operation, nor can it assess the impact of temperature rise or installation position on the release bearing.

    2. Controllable Clutch Operation Speed

    During the fatigue life test of the release bearing, the clutch operation speed must be controllable, and the clutch must be able to open and close accurately and reliably for a long time. The fatigue life test requires tens of thousands of clutch engagement/disengagement cycles and release bearing movements of the transmission. Obviously, this test requirement is difficult to achieve manually, and manual control also cannot guarantee test accuracy.

    II. Structural Characteristics of Automotive Release Bearing Test Equipment

    1. Fixed Transmission Fixture

    The clutch equipped with the release bearing to be tested is installed in a vehicle transmission, which is fixedly arranged on the test platform through a transmission fixture. A drive unit and a loading unit are separately configured, with the drive unit using a drive motor as the power source.

    2. Connection Between Drive Shaft and Transmission Shaft

    The output shaft of the drive motor is connected to the input shaft of the transmission. The loading unit uses a left loading motor to provide left-side loading torque, which is connected to the left output shaft of the transmission through the left drive shaft of the transmission. A right loading motor provides right-side loading torque, connected to the right output shaft of the transmission through the right drive shaft of the transmission. Drive unit torque sensors, left loading torque sensors, and right loading torque sensors are respectively connected in series to the output shafts of the drive motor, left loading motor, and right loading motor.

    3. Clutch Actuator

    A clutch actuator is configured, and the oil pressure-controllable output oil circuit in the clutch actuator provides release hydraulic power for the release bearing.
