These tasks cover all material processing operations, such as picking, placing, loading, unloading, and packaging forming related to front-end packaging processes, as well as processing procedures like labeling, inspection, and sampling.

There are two basic types of such robots: 4-axis SCARA robots (hereinafter referred to as 4-axis robots) and 6-axis articulated robots (hereinafter referred to as 6-axis robots). Among them, 4-axis robots are specially designed for high-speed pick-and-place operations, while 6-axis robots offer higher flexibility in production movements. A 4-axis robot, also known as a SCARA manipulator, features a simple structure, low cost, and high reliability. Its purpose is to provide a 4-axis SCARA robot with low cost, easy installation and maintenance, and strong operability. Functions: sorting, grabbing, handling, and packaging objects. SCARA robots are also widely used in fields such as the plastics industry, automotive industry, electronic products industry, pharmaceutical industry, and food industry.

A 6-axis robot has two more joints than a 4-axis robot, thus having more"degrees of freedom in movement". The first joint of a 6-axis robot can rotate freely on the horizontal plane like a 4-axis robot, and the last two joints can move in the vertical plane. In addition, a 6-axis robot has one"arm"and two"wrist"joints, which endow it with capabilities similar to those of a human arm and wrist.

The additional joints of 6-axis robots mean they can pick up components oriented in any direction on the horizontal plane and place them into packaged products at special angles. They can also perform many operations that can only be completed by skilled workers.
